DIY Glass Bottle with Straw

Picture

Old Milk Jars with straws are a fun way to serve lemonade or your favorite beverage at your next party.  These are just old Starbucks cappuccino bottles that I removed the labels from. Painted the Lids and put a rubber grommet in the center so no one would cut themselves on the sharp metal.

Supplies needed:

Glass Bottle with lid
Rubber Grommet large enough for straw to go through
Spray Paint for lids
Drill bit for hole in lid

The first step is to drill a hole in the center of the lid. Once that is done I painted them with Rust-Oleum spray paint.  ONLY paint the outside.  You don’t want spraypaint on the inside to come in contact with anything you are going to drink.

Once the lids are dry work the rubber grommet into the hole.  It is hard to take a picture showing how to do this.  Once you get it started it should go in really easy.
