Homemade Chicken Broth is on of the easiest things to make and it is a staple in our house. We use it in soups, stews, stir fries, risotto and probable a few more I am not thinking of right now.
One of the best inventions has got to be the rotisserie chicken from Sams. I can’t make one for $4.95. I usually use the Chicken for a couple of recipes and then take everything that is left and throw it in a large stock pot with onions, carrots and celery. I also add any of the dripping left in the chicken container. Then cover with water and let simmer for a few hours. When it is done, strain and put into freezer containers.
