Marinated Green Beans


Marinated Green Beans are amazing, easy to make and a great addition to any meal.  Great side dish for a summer potluck dinner.  They are slightly crunchy with a savory taste. I first ran across these when I was trying to find something different to make with green beans.  They are plentiful this time of year and the same old things gets really boring.  l am looking forward to making these again.

1 lb fresh green beans
1 Tablespoon Herbs De Provice seasoning
2 Tablespoons fresh diced basil
2 gloves of garlic minced
2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper to taste


Rinse green beans in cold water. break both ends off of beans. boil green beans until desired tenderness.  drain and place in large bowl. add all other ingredients.  Mix thoroughly and allow to marinate for at least an hour.  Serve at room temperature
