Strawberry Water Kefier Popsicles

I got this awesome recipe from my sister Brenda. These are so refreshing and the kids don’t know they are good for them.

Water Kefier is an amazing source of probiotics.  There is a lot of information out there on the benefits of probiotics.

Bacteria has a bad reputation, so the idea of purposefully putting them in your body seems counterintuitive, but a growing body of scientific evidence suggests that you can treat and even prevent some illnesses with foods containing “good” live bacteria.  If you eat yogurt you are already getting some of these good little guys in your system.

Scientists are learning more each day about the role of microbes in keeping people healthy and the multitude of health benefits associated with consuming the right type and levels of probiotic microbes.

Research has suggested that probiotic bacteria can:

  • Improve digestive function
  • Help with side effects of antibiotics
  • Help reduce the risk of certain acute common infectious diseases
  • Improve tolerance to lactose
  • Enhance immune function

Ingredients:

4 cups water keifer
2 cups coconut water
1 cup strawberry daquiry mix

Mix everything together. pour into molds, freeze. ENJOY
