I picked up this ugly chandelier the other day at the local thrift shop (DI). It spoke to me…. Make me pretty. So that is just what I did.
First thing. I gave it a good scrub, removed the ugly wires and the part that attaches to the ceiling. Spray painted the whole thing white.
Once I got it painted I had to figure out a way to keep the solar lights secure and centered. I cut a small round piece of board and drilled a hole in the center that the solar light stem would fit through.
Next I added some spanish moss to help keep the ivy and flowers in place.
This pictures show a mini wreath I made to place around the solar light.
Added the solar lights.
The finishing touch was these cute little pink bird ornaments I got at Michaels.
